I was also curious about the addition of bitumen to the wording so I texted the man himself as to whether it was likely to be from source rock or reservoir. He said:

“Needs more analysis once it goes to the lab. But as we have stated fits in with multiple charge episodes of basin and oil/gas generation windows”

I had an interpretation of this which I checked with someone who’s opinion I respect. My feeling is that the different horizons may have a combination of hydrocarbons. Samples to surface will be the decider. Big few days to come at site.
