Petere said red colour on the seismic has to be fast velocity for it to be gas. I simply replied to that technical issue by stating a bright spot on the seismic, as observed in the layer(s) near the base of Forrest in well M1 should indicate gas but not because it's fast velocity - gas has the effect of decreasing the seismic velocity.
We already know that high gas saturations have been observed from the logs in well M1, high mud gas readings have been detected, as well as blue coloured fluorescence in the sidewall core samples, which is indicative of gas condensate bearing reservoir rock.
Regarding well M2, the unknowns include reservoir permeability and that will have a bearing on the fluid mobility when they take a fluid sample and hopefully when a DST is performed next year.
IMHO there should be sufficient permeability for commercial flow rates to be achieved, especially in the Pebbly Arkose.
