Could the lack of reference to fluorescence be due to the "losses of drilling mud to the formation"? Possibly didn't get a lot of good cuttings return to surface?
Can you have the heavier C4-C5 components in the mud gas without fluorescence in the cuttings? Would they normally go hand in hand?
