Excellent news and it helps to put our minds at rest.
The report said "marked increases in the C1 to C5 components to 2582m MD." and "total background gas higher than in well M-1 with heavier C1 to C5."
The bold highlights at the top of the report said "C4 to C5 in the mud gas increasing with depth", but is that up to 2582m MD? It might mean the gas is richer (implied gradual increase in CGR) as depth increases below 2582m MD, whereas in M-1 there was a gradual decrease in the CGR with depth.
Compared to the M-1 mud gas data, they have not yet observed peak gas 135-times background.
It will be interesting to see if C4 to C5 continues to increase with depth over the next 1000+ metres.
Why no mention of the Pebbly Arkose. We should have info good or bad, please.
