were management required to list the sample zone wireline porosity in the initial discovery announcement and why not provide any similar info for the deeper section? don't get it tbh especially with all SM's talk of how the LA sections are better quality reservoir and properties not being too determined by overburden. "better" and the overburden reference here has a fair range of interpretation. better relative to the overburden? does that impact viability of downdip LA sections?
i understand that if the 21m net pay added in the second discovery announcement vs 13.9m initial figure is all from LA (don't think they clearly say this anywhere in the announcement) then there's probably better reservoir deeper, but i'm just some tard with no background in anything and can't determine if that is just a consequence of thicker sands rather than higher porosity or other reservoir properties.
i understand the net pay figures are far more likely to go up rather than down due to nature of w/e statistical tests they run, new basin, and the over pressured deeper LA section, but just trying to determine some sort of realistic end resource figure distribution / sp target dist. for primary mukuyu targets in order to resize my position.
pre discovery choosing 20tcf as high case scenario and doing straight comparison to zohr sale prices, put me at a bit under 4 bil AUD for 100% of project assuming similar ppsa to w/e algeria does.
any thoughts or help appreciated.
