Hole sections need to be wireline logged before they are cased. 7" liner can't be run over the current open hole section until MDT operations are completed and side wall coring tool is run. VSP shoot may get done through 7" liner or at 6" TD if they deepen the well.
The normal sequence is to drill successively smaller diameter hole sections, wireline log them and then case them off before drilling next hole section.
