    "TBH it’s not that hard."

Seems pretty straight forward om theory but in reality running wireline logs with your tools on the end of a drill string can be quite challenging. Comments:

    - running in your tools to just inside the casing shoe is pretty straight forward. At this stage the wireline cable isnt attached to the tool so the driller is running the show.
    - your first challenge is pumping down the cable and engaging the wet latch on the end of the cable with the tool head. One common issue is failure of the wet latch to engage and establish electrical connectivity between the tool and wireline unit.
    - Once the cable is attached to the tool any movement of the tool requires the driller to move the pipe and the winchman to spool out/reel in his wireline at the same speed. Get it wrong and you can yank out your wet latch or part your cable weak point. Care must be taken to not rotate the tool or damage the cable where it runs into the rotary table...all it takes is one rough neck dropping the clips in the wrong place and your cable can get crushed. Sounds easy but its actually quite hard.
    - Any time you're running a station tool you need to get the tool on depth with the reference log. Easy enough when youre on wireline only and can freely run the tool up and down the hole. More tricky when youre on drill pipe....considerable time can be spent re-running Gamma ray correlation passes until the tool is on depth.
