I personally think the ASX will be first to be notified because the government will leak like a sieve.
Imagine finding out we have a discovery from Zimbabwe media who have no clue about what they are talking in regards to O & G.
IMO the ASX will find out first followed immediately by the gov with a press conference with the entire team with the president.
SM won't tell them first, no way IMO, the gov announced a discovery back in 2018 just because IVZ farmed in to the SG4571 block.
