Roch2077, you said the MDT modules failed before they reached the reservoir. Based on today's report that is not true because they were performing a pump out operation.
We need to better understand the capabilities of the Saturn probe or the conventional probe (whichever was used) regarding pump out capabilities? Could it have been that the pump-out operation took quite a long period of time - too long, therefore, the tool failed? Petere said the hole has been open for two weeks, but I'm sure it is longer than that since they drilled into the lower part of the Pebbly Arkose? Obviously , that will have a bearing on the total amount of fluid loss into each zone. I don't believe that mud filtrate loss will be near zero as some people have said, because we know that the zones that have caused the wireline to differentially stick are also capable of taking fluid losses.
