@Nergel“Why are they drilling and sampling the Lower Angwa”

They will sample the Upper Angwa and the low pressure top section of the Lower Angwa.
This allows the company to correlate these samples with the pressures/data taken on MK2 to be able to provide estimates on net pay. Because of the different “geological zones” - a sample of the Upper Angwa cant accurately be transposed/accounted for the Lower Angwa.

Both the UA and LA have stacked reservoirs (reportedly individually between 20-100m thick) - 11 different reservoirs identified in Upper Angwa in MK1
With pressure and other data acquired wireline data acquisition program (hopefully they got all they needed) during MK2 these individual stacked reservoirs can then be catergorised/profiled as “columns” and an associated net pay can be utilised for the multiple different reservoir “bands” or treated as a “unit” (Upper Angwa) rather than having to sample each individual one. (We don't have enough sample bottles for the amount of individual reservoirs we have… not a bad problem to have).

@Kiwigeo8339 - I actually liked that they mentioned the 100% new formation drilled. It painted a very clear picture in my head that they were past the plug and drilling as intended. They had the specialist side track bit sitting on the shelf (that arrived too late for MK1ST)
I believe they were running NMR and FMI as part of the data suite on MK2 - am I correct in thinking that we would now have that information and this would have been completed before going for sample.
What benefits do you think the NMR and FMI info will give us for 1.) This sidetrack and 2.) Being able to utilise for potential farm-in partner.
My understanding is that NMR gives accurate reading of Porosity/Permeability and that the FMI paints a picture of inside the borehole - (still have a bit more research to do on these both)

To everyone else - I highly recommend revisiting the last Fireside Chat. (Pre Spud) JRI37 - There is 2 hours of information in that broadcast that makes so much more sense (to me anyway) now we have “lived/experienced” a lot of it in MK2.
It’s also intriguing to try and read between the lines and watch SM’s body language when he discusses net pay, the way that the original Tcf estimates were applied …and what we actually might have…. To me it looks like he is trying to hide an elephant behind a mimosa tree.
He has the same body language tell-tale as myself for the “ahh for f^cks sake - I am sick of this question - it’ll be ready when its done” when asked about the PPSA.
