Unnecessary detail IMHO.

When you kick off a sidetrack you start drilling on the cement plugs and the ditch cutting samples will reflect this by showing 100% cement.
As the bit starts to deviate off the plug and cut into side of the original hole youll see an increasing % of formation in the ditch cuttings. When bit is fully off the plugs and drilling formation you'll see 100% formation in the cuttings.

For the hapless Wellsite Geologist it's like being in a car full of kids asking "are we there yet" every 5 minutes.
