The real good news was the high gas pressures in the Lower Anwar below 3,490 metres and continuing for over 309 metres before the drilling was bolted.
Sure the well was buggered by the high mud weights but that discovery was extraordinary. Huge added value for the company, will be worth billions.
The costs was a couple of weeks delay and the need to drill a side track. Cost of delay maybe and sidetrack maybe approximately $15 M.
Will probably be the most important event in IVZ history apart from discovering the hydrocarbon system in the basin via M 1.
