Most of the major Mudlogging Companies offer MS based gas panels.....they're not the instruments you see sitting in labs. They're usually rack mounted units designed specifically for field work.
Of course you can train your Data Engineers to run MS based instruments but you can make more money out of the client by telling them you either need DEs specially trained on the instruments or a "specialist". There's usually a post well analysis of the acquired data...another opportunity to add in a few more charges.
