I wouldn't say clearly state, I think it's pretty strongly ambiguous. One definition of following: coming after or as a result of. e.g. "he got rich in 2 days following a massive OG discovery"

I read it as "results expected in 2-3 days from now, after we've finished the fluid sampling program." The "following completion of the fluid sampling program" (which is expected for 2-3- days) is included since we need to complete the sampling program to get results.

There are far better ways of wording the announcement if it was 4-6 days but it wouldn't be an IVZ announcement if it wasn't ambiguous in some way.
