I've gone opposite to you, I feel that yesterday's news was further derisking and that we are almost certain a sample to surface now (in my opinion). There'll be more high-5s than praying at the drill head I reckon
- they have 1 proven reservoir target that they know will flow HCs
- they have a drill pipe driving the MDT tools down the hole which they know will not suffer from wireline sticking
- all they have to do is lower the MDT at the end of the drill pipe to the same spot as previous and fill that chamber
- even if the hole deteriorates as they pursue the full set of subsequent sample targets, they can yank up what they have at any time knowing it's attached the the might of the drill pipe

I can't see how they can fail from here personally
