The market today is not the same market of 2020-2022 where monumental gains were made and held due to the Covid stimulus. It's a tougher market now and investors are putting capital preservation at the forefront of their decision making process.

Unfortunately that includes profit taking. Stocks for the most part are not holding gains and gains from news is being sold into.

Therefore, it is a matter of patience as the company continues to progress the discovery. There is also the element of investors not understanding net pay vis a vis the structure size and that this figure is preliminary.

As the news proliferates across the globe, the stakeholders in the O&G industry will take notice and will have a more fine-tuned understanding than your average ASX retailer.
