Amazing news to finally have the formal discovery out of the way. I was expecting a run up to $500M+ market cap but I guess the lowish net number threw some people off and a lot of profit taking from stale holders and traders. Probably also some hesitancy around future funding or a CR. Not sure why you would sell in to this news... The best is very clearly still to come...

Even if the Upper Angwa isn't a sweet spot here, Scott has now inferred during today's investor call that the Lower Angwa is the goods in this horst block. Massive sands instead of a fluvial setting with much better porosity and permeability than the Upper Angwa here so I'd expect to see a much higher net to be declared in the Lower Angwa... I think when they eventually drill the LA section to the overpressured zones prior to the well test then we'll be looking at 50 to 100m+ net sand. Then to top it off there is overpressure too. Can't really go wrong with the flow test here, it will be substantial rates and volumes.

i hope they plan some kind of early commercialisation pilot with this well - the LA may be all we need to produce here for significant gas volumes. And the well test will tell us if the Upper Angwa sands here thicken more away from the well location.
