There is also RioZim (Rio Zimbabwe) and Gezhouba Group, they were jointly going to build a new 2,100MW thermal plant for $3bn usd. However, Gezhouba Group is a subsidiary of Power China and they've stated they do not want to build anymore Coal plants internationally.
There is considerable amount of funding circling Zimbabwe for a lasting solution to the energy crisis.
As you've cited, Glencore is a good example as they have tangible involvement in Zimbabwe.
Lots of potential suitors. We should be in a position to source $5-7m for flow testing without going back to the vultures in Australian capital markets.
