This isn't due to a change in my sentiment towards the stock. As Ive noted previously all my share holdings are within an SMSF and Im duty bound to adhere to an investment strategy that places restrictions on how much I can invest in higher risk stocks such as IVZ and STX. The choice was holding long term with IVZ or switching to STX and making a similar profit over a shorter period. The fund is switching to pension phase in a few months so that means holding at least 2 years worth of pension payements in cash or FI.
If my holdings weren't restricted by my investment strategy I'd be holding both stocks.
