Exactly, it's not a great look when a company tries to get a RI over the line, but I'm not sure why all the hand-wringing.
If people choose not to take up their entitlement, then the sophisticated investors will pick up the shortfall (which is what they've wanted from the beginning), IVZ get the cash, and we progress to the next stage of de-risking.
The way some people are carrying on you'd think the whole business was on the line.
