Do the math. 100m x 100m x 1m x the specific gravity of the rock. Each meter is roughly a tonne of ore. If you are getting 1% grades, that's $800 per meter squared. Small deposits are a freaking goldmine at these grades (5%+). Open cut the area and pull 1% average out of the zone, it's massive.
Small deposits is where it is, just one of those blobs of colour could be a $20m+ in ore.
