It all seems conflicted.
On one hand we have an ostensibly positive ann heralding the start of drilling. Then when you get into it you read that artisanal mining is breaking out all over the leases. This is bad news as no real title is enforced.

Then on the one hand in recent interview he says he has no problem with artisanal as they 'do the prospecting' and 'take nothing significant' yet then says the 'administration' will move them on. Which is it?

Then we see they had some good hits elsewhere. so good and unexpected apparently that they chose to ice them and pursue them later..... interesting given the artisanal mining running rampant and the low share price.
Of course, then you consider him saying that he would have rather worked for Greenpeace but they hung up the phone on him so he stuck with mining exploration.

Some choose religion and prayer to wash away their sins.
But increasingly in the modern era as per Gates, Musk, Dimon, et al... Some wash their guilt away and try to elevate themselves as saints with shareholders' money pursuing good deeds so as to bask in the reflected glow...
