Good to see Shine think it is price sensitive. I just had a refresher about what that exactly means. It has to be that “a reasonable person would expect the information to have a material effect on the price or value of the entity's securities”.
”Material effect” is a pretty big hurdle, so I would be interested to know how much they expect this material cash injection to be.
This seems to be the only class action settlement that Shine have ever announced on the ASX other than the J&J Mesh settlement, so I assume that the cash coming in has to be substantial, and more than every other class action settlement they have not announced.
