”Material effect” is a pretty big hurdle, so I would be interested to know how much they expect this material cash injection to be.

This seems to be the only class action settlement that Shine have ever announced on the ASX other than the J&J Mesh settlement, so I assume that the cash coming in has to be substantial, and more than every other class action settlement they have not announced.

I don't think it is price sensitive as far as making the profit better or worse. They have probably announced it because of the media coverage but it is comforting. Shine usually coverts about 85 million dollars of WIP into cash each year. This I would estimate would be about 5 Million, but it would be nice to hear from the company.
