You are probably correct in that regard.
However, do you think VR1 can win this race with its current cash negative operation? During the smartphone era, how many big firm has failed? Blackberry, Palm/HP, Nokia and Microsoft. The same with smart watches, from pebble to fossil.
IMO, at the end of the day, the best outcome you might see is it gets taken over cheaply by another mid sized firm.
The worst is probably BOD grind the very last cent trying to win the survival of the fittest.
