Gravity and Magnetics with three interesting areas standing out. Two on Paterson IGO farm in area and an interesting zone at Minyari Waca.

Summary on GE base with drilling.

Sorry it is complex and messy.
Key: Magenta gravity highs (reds on gravity map mainly); Yellow marginal gravity/shoulders/isolated elevated areas; white outlines are ultra fine soil anomalies 1-3.

Drill holes RC and DDH with aircore and Rab holes removed as they provide near complete coverage with variable reliability. Difficult for me to get a complete drilling data set meaning apparent gaps may or may not have been drilled with RC/DD but have mainly been tested with shallow holes.

The gravity anomaly picks up the entirety of Min/Waca and has two intriguing highs which appear to have been poorly tested by deep drilling.
Good to see a gravity anomaly in the area of Minyari main down plunge. Why it is over the deeper part will hopefully be revealed by very deep (1-2000m??) drilling. Could be a very positive sign that some more massive sulphides are present at depth in the breccia or a mafic intrusive body or many other non economic possibilities.

Geochem anomaly 3 and the western gravity high are coincident. Serendipity or another plunging zone??.

Minyari north hole is the isolated northern most hole. Hole to west one of the probable recce RC holes spotted by @Shines2

The drilling of Sundown, southern geochem 3, minyari, waca and gp01 represent the other holes.

Complete data base dump of drill holes - may not be everything but probably a reasonable attempt at getting most drilling captured.
Some magnetics but not as prominent as the other two below.

No readily available drilling reported in this immediate area.

Very steep magnetic gradient to the SW probably over faulted margins into an arm of the Waukarlykarly graben/basin.


Gravity base with white dashed lines from magnetic trends. Correlation is OK but the magnetics may be marginal to the highs. Not a big deal as something similar happens at Havieron and there are complex issues attached to accurately locating peaks of anomalies.

The gravity does seem to be diverging from magnetics to the SE.

Google earth base with Magnetics lime green (some internal detail/highs included); Gravity Hi to Lo magenta, yellow, blue.
No drilling apparently reported in this area.

Interesting the gravity picks up only this one area within the Crofton Granites (only a small portion done with gravity though)

Lots of colourful and probably confusing images. AEM was done over PP01 in 2018 with no anomaly detected. Unlikely the granite intrusive area has been done with AEM.


The magnetic features are quite distinct at 01 south of Micks.

Targets generated:
M/W gravity high in the down plunge area of the Minyari Breccia - promising. Stops short of Minyari Nth area (too deep??)
M/W gravity high coincident with Geochem anom 3 with only limited drill testing in the north. Poor magnetic responses. Check GAIP/IP??

Gravity anom PP01 - some magnetic correlation but this may be coincidental; close to major structure; large scale possible; no AEM responses. Interesting target but....

Gravity anom PP02 - Fascinating to find something like this tucked away in the Mt Crofton magnetic granites. The combination of detailed magnetics and gravity may have found something that has been hidden in the magnetics for 50 years covered by a thin veneer of sand. While it is most likely some complex phase of the granites it could be something more exciting.
