Droneshield has stated that it has already received initial funding from US DoD - Dept unnamed. Further funding for extra enhancements to be discussed (may include additional in-house software?), priced and hopefully purchased from the now said Preferred Supplier. Having spent time as a RAAF puplic servant and also working for several Aus Defence contractors, I understand the procurement process (best value for money etc), authorisations, the funding draw-down from budget already allotted for the year up to 10 years and more authorisations. Then the export licencing and delivery - set to work of the equipment and technologies and Dod acceptance. It's a long and strategic process with red-tape issues, documentation sign-offs at various levels etc all along the way. This is a good start!
