my comment wasn't directed at DDH1. Anyone drilling to 1km below surface target something with a 60m strike needs to resolve the risk vs reward. How many of those $0.25M holes do you commit to? When do you stop drilling it? How do you measure success? Deep drilling like that is challenging beyond just getting the bit to 1km.
