it seems a bit of a strange question to ask a company director if they have ever been the subject of legal proceedings without more details on the proceedings being referred to. I would assume many have been involved in some form of legal proceedings, be it disputes over employee terminations or contracts with clients or suppliers or similar? Surely if they are currently involved in an unfair dismissal dispute that would fit your description, yet not really anything to be concerned about?
current state of play seems to be that the company has never released any negative results or findings up until now, which I don't think is that unusual. I haven't heard many biotech companies announce they killed a load of lab rats or dogs or even ferrets or whatever, generally they just re formulate and try again until they find a safe formula. That is the whole point of in vitro and in vivo and animal testing isn't it before applying for ethics approval to test in humans as they did recently?
Surely if they apply to test in humans knowing there is a fundamental issue as you seem to be suggesting then we will know fairly soon and there would be some serious liability? Or is that what you are suggesting?
