Been in the industry for over 40yrs and now and involved in design, procurement and construction of Power stations and substations. there is a large amount of infrastructure to support a 1.3MW plus power station, from separation plant cooling plants for the machines, large water tanks, workshops and support infrastructure etc We are not talking about 2-3MW units. We are talking about 50MW - 100MW plus Combined Cycle units. There is a lot of design work to be done for a complete solution to Zimbabwe’s power infrastructure issues. Even the 50MW pilot project unit will be based on the final design criteria.
