The downslope from the pit approximates 30 deg, giving host rock/orebody intercepts at approx 400m depth 7-800m from the pit. Potentially you have >800m strike within 500m of surface. IF the grades increase with depth, or another system exists deeper, then beyond 4-500m depth becomes economical. Interesting to also note that Visible Gold is noted outside Quartz veining in the Trachytic host rock and also with and without PyPo. It seems the upcoming assays and core analyses might offer quite a lot of information other than just grade, which should be good given multiple VG occurrences. Understanding the gold positioning within the alteration should give a clearer picture of where future drill targets might be. IP and other EM surveying should reveal targets nicely, given that the majority of gold occurs in association/proximity to Po and Py, which both show relatively high chargeability. Should be a good vector for the location of ore bodies. And yes@Shellbell Juruena looks very promising and is clearly not up for sale, despite the misleading posts by BNW to the contrary.
Well worth re-reading the scope of future works going into 2021. Pasted below for reference.
"The Company has commenced preparations for the 2021 Kimberley field season on the back of a recently completed
lithostructural interpretation of the area by PGN Geoscience. This interpretation has confirmed the prospectivity of
historical soil anomalies as well as generating numerous gold exploration targets across the Company’s (160km2) Palm
Springs tenement package.
Meteoric’s 2021 Regional Exploration work will initially comprise a soil and rock chipping program across the targets
identified with follow-up ground based geophysical surveys to generate drill targets. The Company already has approved
PoWs across a number of obvious gold targets identified by historical workings and previous exploration.
In conjunction with an aggressive approach to Regional Exploration there will be a focus on programs designed to rapidly
advance the Butchers Creek Gold Project towards production. Immediate work will include calculation of a resource
estimate and a Scoping Study. Assuming the study is positive the Company intends to implement additional programs
including gaining access into the open pit for dewatering and additional in-pit resource drilling, step-out and infill RC drilling,
in addition to preliminary metallurgical testwork. These programs are all designed to support any Prefeasibility/Feasibility
Study."
