No-one, least of all the company is suggesting "true width". After all, this is gold exploration and the mineralisation is stockwork, fractures, breccias and multiple quartz veins.
However DD001 has confirmed the geology and "true depth" of RC006.
I expect assays will confirm the depth and nice grade of RC006 - will be bonanza grade for the 18.45m of visible gold from 172m - and will extend the true depth of mineralisation deeper, possibly to EOH at 300m, fingers crossed.
DD001 was not a Director's Special. It was planned and previously announced. It's a pathfinder, and found the veining orienting both NE and NW. The next hole below will add to the picture - re dip and plunge. And we will keep vectoring and drilling.
Another point about width. Look at the few historical NE cross holes that reach to the vicinity of the end of RC006 at depth - 26m @ 2.52g/t from 182m, 69m @ 1.38g/t from 184m and 30.2m @ 1.95g/t from 189m to EOH. Those holes end some 50m at surface projection beyond and NE of the line of DD001. Plenty of potential for "width" and not just theoretical.
As for the market action after great news, it happens. De Grey didn't move from 5c for a month after announcing the discovery of Hemi in Dec 2019.
