Well....as I understand Mitchell has taken over and Scott's future with IAU is at least rather questionable.
Probably you're right. The SP reflects the current sentiment for IAU.
However...I think the old dog will live for another while and in the case the DFS can't be improved, no further interesting drilling results (more copper) and the CU price will futher depreciate...well...then I guess the old dog will die.
