22 - cheers for your reply.

Based on several reasons, but the main one is that I've been bullish on the POG for some time and believe that it's only a matter of time before the whole ball game changes.

Most of us can appreciate that goldies have been massively undervalued (vs the POG) for a long time. I think this is going to change in the next 1-2 years, as will all the valuations of gold stocks. Specifically, G20 will ratify Basel III in November & gold will be reclassified as a tier 1 asset (spec as to when this will occur - but I believe early 2013). Once central banks start buying up big time, the POG will rocket. I hold the view that goldies will also rocket - hence the main reason I bought a couple of goldies. MYG has its own reasons - grades, costs, exploration upside, etc. but most of us are aware of those.

Re: timeframes. Tricky one. I liked the chart fbx258 put up some time ago (life cycle of a junior explorer). Using that as a guide, you could say we are exiting the orphan period and are about to enter the development & start-up periods. Once finance is sorted, instos jump on board & we become a producer - the SP should reflect that development. As you can see from my sentiment, MYG is a LT buy - so a couple of years from now - perhaps.

Re: sharing views. I'm all for it - that's why I commented (against the prevailing winds). Meant no disrespect to LeDerp - I enjoy reading most of his/ her views - just feel that he/she sometimes falls into the trap of downramping MYG on this thread - while pumping MSR at the same time. I can always drop by the MSR thread, if I wanna hear how great they are.

Justreading - good post. As you pointed out, we have the power and can vote against changes we are unhappy about. Constructive!

For what it's worth, I'm also unhappy and frustrated with the timeframes - as my wife can attest to. Have been close to selling on a number of occasions, but I'm still 60% up & believe MYG has a long way to go in an upwards direction. I just have to be patient.

    GLTA.

p.s. should have been bitten in my previous post - too many reds.
