Whilst the release of permits for 200,000 head for first third of 2016 is good the real limiter is going to be restricted supply from Northern Australia; there are only so many cattle to go around and many other export players will be competing for them as well.
Supply and cost of supply is also the elephant in the room in respect of the potential for live exports to China.
