re: Ann: GLL: MVT: Supplementary Bidder's... I am not sure that I understand the opening gambit on this move on GLL. Why not try to build a bigger stake approaching 20% and then launch a bid or try to muscle out the existing board. Starting from 2% seems strange.
Given that they lost the vote on allowing proportional bids are they likely to have the bid voted down as well ? Why not launch a an unconditional cash bid and just drive up the register to get control ? I see that Sir Ron is lending them the money for the current bid so maybe they could not put the money for the full bid on the table ?
I can see the value if they can get control because they can then just repeat the MMX scenario of using the company cash to buy out other shareholders and focus on the remaining exploration asset. Just dont understand about how they have opened the campaign.
