Hi Gareth, it's been broadly explained during investor calls that one of the key advantages of the CNT tubes is that it creates a square wave emission. It's off and then suddenly on, and off again. In that way, you can give the same dose required for good image quality, but expose the patient to less.
With regard to image quality, there are challenges with it being in a curved array and scattering. They've looked into this already, here's a paper recently published by a senior software engineer at Micro X outlining how the Multi-source array (MXA) CT they're creating will deal with scatter and curved-panel detector - you'll need access via an institution to read it for free.
