My take only is as follows:

Micro-X originally used FujiFilm detectors back when Carestream were the distributor.

Then, May 2021 they signed a "deal" with Varex Imaging to use their detectors/panels. Interesting when you search Varex they seem to have a big presence in Veterinary prior to MX1 involvement.

The above makes it reasonably clear that the VAREX detectors will be used to sell under Micro-X own brand.

Whereas today's announcement makes it reasonably clear that the "Rover Cart" and specifically the cold-cathode nanotubes (CCNT) will be integrated (as previously mentioned above its the CCNT that MX1 have developed, plus a plastic cart; they don't make the detectors/panels/software it seems?)

So my thoughts are there will be 2 machines (or 3 if FujiFilm still being used?) selling side by side with different detectors/panels/software, however the CCNT is still where Micro-X will make its money once it becomes standard issue across every hospital (and hopefully every floor/unit of every hospital).
