Peter clearly mentioned the portable X-ray machines have existing competition, the bomb detection and airport security projects do not.
There is absolutely no way they would share their technology in those other 2 spaces, and both of them would use vastly different I.T. Systems to the portable scanners anyway.
Hopefully you can contact someone (hopefully Peter) to hear something that allays any fears you have!
