Very telling that the ribbon was cut by the House Armed Services Committee chair - the US defence and security markets are where we're most likely to reap first-mover advantage (chiefly the IED imaging tech, but also, within this sector, VA and other military hospitals). And we are sure to have impressed the TSA, the other critical segment of the security market.

At the same time, the strategic threat environment (for both the US and Australia) is now very different to the post-9/11 "war on terror". In short, less IED and more conventional hi-tech arms (borne by traditional standing armies a la China and Russia). The Rover will be crucial on naval hospital ships. Let's hope it never comes to that though, and that they will still prove useful in day to day military healthcare.
