Was just looking back at an older presentation where it was stated that the TSA runs ~ 4,400 X-ray lanes. In each lane based on the accepted design from MX1 they can fit 7 portals in the same footprint as 1 current lane. That gives 30,800 portals MX1 could sell in the US alone, it's obviously difficult to assess what they'll charge for each portal but with a very conservative estimate of 75k for each portal that gives $2,3100,000,000 just for the capital equipment in one country, then there are government buildings, prisons etc. I wonder how the software will play into this as well. Will be very interesting to see where this is in a couple of years if they can pull this off.
