Day traders especially in lockdown which saw a massive growth of bored cashed up stuck at home with PC people trading, are a glitch in the sharemarket in my view, but we cannot do anything about it. They will generally lose a lot of money and learn that it isn't going to work as a way to make a living but a quick way to lose hard earned funds. A few might crack it with the required disciplines in place and careful planning but generally its a losing game esp. when emotions come into play and planned strategies go awry. Anyway, amazon and other competitors are beside the point, there is room for all and didn't MyDeal announcement say they will use Amazon and EBay platforms to move their stock as well as their own! The numbers for MYD are looking reasonably good and should keep getting better. I just wish I'd waited and had not amended my initial buy order for shares at $1.23 when the SP started rising - and so did my buy order. That's what I mean by emotions overriding strategy, it happened to me at my cost and oh well, the cash wasn't doing anything in my bank account anyway, so may as well have it riding on MYD although some of it seems to be lost in the ether, but should come back in time plus more
