Large drop in one day with obvious emphasis on 4th year of declining earnings. Catch 22 for Myer really - invest while sentiment is poor to offset longer term pressures or cut back on investments in the short term to prop up earnings?
It will be interesting to see if any interesting groups appear on the buy side of day's trading volumes as it appears to be a good accumulation time. IMO there might be some short term volatility but the price will probably increase again quickly as short termers exit and the share goes ex-dividend.
