Agreed, This announcement of a decrease in profit was well telegraphed and expected by the market.
So I think the larger share holders like GS and UBS are gleefully mopping up the shares of panicked smaller holders at this bargain price and once that is complete and take over speculation takes hold again,
the price will head north again. Still think a foreign player will see Myer as an opportunity to get into the AU Market. As I have said before Myer may not be on a par with David Jones, but it isn't worth half the price either.
