If it is material to the company and they believe it may affect the share price, it has to be disclosed.

Lots of software companies don’t announce every single launch because individually they wouldn’t affect the share price. A company with hundreds of products wouldn’t announce every launch/update as they are expected to regularly release new products or updates.

However, MYQ announced the Evolt agreement, and also indicated that it is price sensitive. As such, any release made by Evolt would need to be announced.
