I am an (ex) ABA shareholder who received MYS shares as part of the merger. For CGT purposes, what price should I assume I acquired the MYS shares at?
I acquired the ABA shares in two purchases, and it appears that one will be a capital gain and the other a capital loss. Do I need to treat them in combination when applying the rule that only capital gains (not losses) can be given CGT relief?
