Guidance is conservative - QBE is run by spreadsheet actuaries who like dull boring predictable.
Exiting US property catastrophe is a necessary move. While a sale of the business would be preferable to run-off, we can deduce there are no interested buyers above calculated run-off value.
I expect a good divvy now interest rates have improved.
