I wonder which element of the announcement scared the horses…was it the ‘non-sale” of the American business, was it the New Caledonia claims (that surprised me a bit), was the half year update perceived to be a bit soft, or was it something else?
Anyway, investment income is so healthy now that whatever “it” was, I think it’s just a small part of the overall healthy big picture. Let’s not sweat the small stuff, as others seem to be doing.
