not sure what you trying to imply but you literally failed fundamentally to understand that CR was carried out for $14 for some purpose and that purpose was not to buy those share at $25 within a year... and that what was wrong in this buy back.
they could have used this fund to pay special dividend as a compensation for 2020 or used the fund for growth opportunity... IMO.
