Yes, the comparison between MNS and KNL is meaningless. Different in many ways that I don't believe each will be competitors. That has always been pretty obvious.
However reading the BFS, and the differences from the PFS, makes me wonder that a comparison between MNS and SYR might be more reasonable in that they may be serious competitors.
